End Grain Serving Board – Black Limba and Leopardwood

This is a stunning end grain serving board/tray. It was built as a cutting board, but I think it’s too beautiful to be putting a knife blade to it’s surface. Use it for showcasing exquisite servings of cheese or canapes. The wood is two different types of Black Lima framed with Leopardwood. The unusual grain creates numerous “rorschach test” imagery that look to me like Greek god-like images.

The board is finished with a “cutting board finish” of mineral oil and beeswax. There are four rubber feet to protect the bottom surface and it is branded to personalize my handiwork.
